WLS Maximum

  • The right multivitamin after BPD/DS
  • Easy to swallow
  • Easy for your body to absorb
  • Scientifically proven

Use 1 capsule and 1 vitamin A tablet per day. Preferably with a meal, hence not on an empty stomach. It is easiest to swallow our capsule with a sip of water or sugar-free drink. A tablespoon of sugar-free fruit compote is also possible. Do not take more than the recommended dosage.

WLS Maximum is an additional supplement to your diet. In addition, choose a healthy and varied diet and enough exercise.

The multivitamin is available as a capsule. Take the multivitamin with plenty of water or sugar-free drink. Do you find the capsule too large to swallow in one take? Break the capsule open and mix the contents with sugar-free apple puree or other mashed fruit.

Cherry flavoring and iron oxide coloring have been added to this multivitamin. Take this product only if you have had a Biliopancreatic Diversion/Duodenal Switch and are 18 years of age or older. Pregnant or nursing? Then you can safely use WLS Maximum. In that case, do not use the separate vitamin A tablet.

Frequently asked questions

After a weight loss surgery, you will eat less and only in small portions. You will lose weight, but you will also absorb fewer nutrients. Vitamins and minerals are essential to feel good and energetic. This is true for every person, but it’s certainly true if you’ve had a weight loss surgery. Deficiencies can cause all sorts of health issues. Taking a multivitamin can help prevent or supplement deficiencies. Lifelong supplementation will keep your body strong and healthy.

Multivitamins A multivitamin is not a "quick fix" or a temporary solution. Even if your surgery happened a long time ago, you should continue to take multivitamins permanently. Due to weight loss surgery, your body absorbs structurally fewer vitamins and minerals. This can cause deficiencies and other disorders. Lifelong multivitamin intake is essential for staying fit now and for the rest of your life. Self-care is extremely important after weight loss surgery.

After a Biliopancreatic Diversion/Duodenal Switch, your body absorbs less vitamin A. Vitamin A contributes to a healthy immune system, eyes, and skin. After this surgery, you will need extra vitamin A. WLS Maximum contains the maximum dosage allowed but it's simply not enough. Therefore, you will receive an extra vitamin A tablet for free with WLS Maximum. Note: extra vitamin A is not suitable for you if you are pregnant or nursing.

Our multivitamins contain high doses of vitamins and minerals for a good reason: they need to supplement the shortage of vitamins and minerals after weight loss surgery. Some people get nauseous after taking a multivitamin because their stomach, esophagus, or small intestine are still sensitive. It is best to take the multivitamin after having eaten something. Do not take the capsule on an empty stomach. Coffee also helps due to its acidity. Do you still suffer from nausea? Then try a chewable tablet.

Taking vitamins is not always about taking more. In fact, too much can be harmful. It's about getting the right vitamins and minerals in the right proportions. Multivitamins available at a drugstore or supermarket are designed for an average healthy person. FitForMe believes everyone’s needs are different, which is especially true if you have had a weight loss surgery. Based on scientific research, we know which vitamins and minerals you need. Therefore, our multivitamins are uniquely formulated in the right proportions, tailored to your operation. FitForMe supplements help ensure you get the nutrients you need to feel healthy and fit.

A multivitamin is not a magic pill. It doesn't give you superpowers, and it won't instantly turn you into a different person. A multivitamin is your extra daily support to prevent deficiencies. Shortages occur when you do not get enough nutrients or do not absorb them well. A shortage is only noticeable once you stop taking multivitamins. Multivitamins are not temporary but must be taken for life. Although you may not notice a difference right away, the multivitamin is working hard to keep you in balance. Don't wait until you start experiencing symptoms. Take a multivitamin preventively to support your health every day.

  • Do not take the capsule or chewable tablet on an empty stomach. Take it after your lunch, dinner, or shortly before bedtime. Taking multivitamins on an empty stomach can sometimes cause nausea.
  • Swallow the capsule with a sip of water or a sugar-free drink. Coffee can also help mask the taste and make it easier to swallow.
  • Move your chin towards your chest and not backward while swallowing the capsule.
  • Is the multivitamin too big to swallow? Open the capsule and take the contents (powder). You can mix the powder with sugar-free applesauce or other sugar-free liquid foods. We recommend sugar-free foods because you may not be able to tolerate sugar and sugary foods after weight loss surgery.
  • Do you also take Calcium Soft Chews or consume dairy products? Do not take them at the same time as the multivitamin. Wait at least 2 hours between taking the multivitamin and Calcium Soft Chew or dairy products.
  • Bonus tip: set a daily reminder on your phone. It will help you stay on track with your multivitamin intake.
  • Do you still have questions or difficulty taking the multivitamins? Feel free to contact us. We would be happy to help you.
