The multivitamin is available as a capsule. Take the multivitamin with plenty of water or sugar-free drink. Do you find the capsule too large to swallow in one take? Break the capsule open and mix the contents with sugar-free apple puree or other mashed fruit.
Cherry flavoring and iron oxide coloring have been added to this multivitamin. Take this product only if you have had a Biliopancreatic Diversion/Duodenal Switch and are 18 years of age or older. After a weight loss surgery, you can consume less and only small portions of food. Fewer calories means losing weight, but your body also obtains less nutrients. You also absorb less nutrients. And that is exactly what you need to feel good and energetic. After a weight loss surgey there is a high chance of vitamin and mineral deficiencies. This can lead to all sorts of complaints. A multivitamin is not a quick fix or temporary solution. Moreover, your body has changed and will continue to do so. To combat vitamin and mineral deficiencies and feel fit, now and later, you need multivitamins permanently. So taking good care of yourself after a weight loss surgery is extremely important. Even if the operation was done some time ago.
After a Biliopancreatic Diversion/Duodenal Switch, your body absorbs less vitamin A. Vitamin A contributes to a healthy immune system, eyes, and skin. After this surgery, you will need extra vitamin A. WLS Maximum contains the maximum dosage allowed but it's simply not enough. Therefore, you will receive an extra vitamin A tablet for free with WLS Maximum. Note: extra vitamin A is not suitable for you if you are pregnant or nursing.
Some people get nauseous after taking a multivitamin. This may be because the stomach, esophagus or small intestine is sensitive. Or due to the high doses of vitamins and minerals in our multivitamins. It helps to take the multivitamin after you've eaten something. Thus, not on an empty stomach. In addition, FitForMe conducts research and adjusts products to reduce the risk of nausea. Do you continue to suffer from nausea? Try a chewable tablet. Only WLS Primo and WLS Maximum are not available as chewable vitamins.
Taking vitamins is not always about taking more. In fact, too much can be harmful. It's about getting the right vitamins and minerals in the right proportions. Multivitamins available at a drugstore or supermarket are designed for people with a healthy weight and intact digestive system. FitForMe believes that everyone needs something different. And that's especially true for you if you've had a weight loss surgery. Through scientific research, we know which vitamins and minerals you absorb less of. Therefore, our multivitamins are uniquely formulated. In the right proportions, tailored to your operation. So that you get exactly what you need to stay fit.
Although you may not feel it, inside your body the multivitamin is working hard to keep you balanced. But, a multivitamin is not a super pill. It doesn't give you superpowers. A multivitamin is your daily extra support to combat deficiencies. Deficiencies occur when you don't get or absorb enough important nutrients. This is especially the case after a weight loss surgery. You only experience a shortage when you no longer take a multivitamin. Moreover, a deficiency can be difficult to correct. So don't wait until you have symptoms. Take a multivitamin preventively to support your health every day.

- The easiest way to swallow the capsule is with a sip of water or sugar-free drink.
- Move your chin towards your chest and not backward while swallowing the capsule.
