Vegetable Skewer of the Grill

These are the Ingredients for a Vegetable Skewer

2 Servings

  • ¼ green pepper
  • ¼ red bell pepper
  • ¼ zucchini
  • 4 mushrooms
  • ¼ white or red onion*
  • olive oil, salt, pepper, oregano, thyme


*After weight-loss surgery, it may happen that you do not tolerate onion well. Leave out the onion if this applies to you.

  • skewers
  • barbecue


How to make the recipe

  1. Cut the bell pepper into pieces of 1 by 1 centimeter.
  2. Cut the mushrooms into quarters and the zucchini into cubes.
  3. Cut the onion into wedges.
  4. Add all the veggies to a bowl and season with a little olive oil, salt, pepper, oregano and thyme.
  5. Line the vegetables on the skewers and alternate the different vegetables.
  6. Grill on the barbecue for about 12 minutes until they are done. Do not forget to turn the skewers a quarter turn regularly.
